Altium Limited (ASX:ALU) says revenue is up 17 per cent for the first six months of the financial year with sales rising 8 per cent compared to the same period last year.
Second quarter also saw revenues rise 17 per cent to $25.12 million which converts to a rise of 23 per cent on a constant currency basis in US dollar terms with sales up by 6 per cent.
The electronics company says that the result is supported by a turnaround in performance in the American markets however challenging economic conditions in Europe and the weakening of the Euro will squeeze profits for the next 6 months.
Despite the headwinds Altium says it is confident full year performance will meet expectations.
Altium reported a net profit of $11.9 million for the 2014 financial year.
