migme Limited (ASX:MIG) has announced a partnership with Sony Music Entertainment India as part of its ongoing expansion into the nation. 

 

The social media entertainment platform says the deal will facilitate access to a broader portfolio of artists in India. 

 

Sony Music India is expected to introduce several new artists to the migme platform over coming months. 

 

migme says artists will gain a new fan base with which they can engage in a range of digital and offline activities.

 

Artists will also be able to gain share in revenue generated from the sale of virtual goods and gifts.  

 

migme reported a net loss of $28.62 million in the 2014 calendar year.
