Auckland International Airport Limited (ASX:AIA) has announced a 7 per cent increase in international passenger arrivals compared to March last year. 

 

Total international passengers hit 51,000 for March, with an early Easter and strong-hub activity on trans-Pacific routes also contributing to an 8.2 per cent increase in total international passenger movements.

 

Other highlights include a 25.6 per cent increase in visitor arrivals from the Americas and the addition of 3 new services, including a daily Kuala Lumpur to Auckland service operated by AirAsia X.

 

Auckland Airport reported a net profit of $108.6 million at 31 December 2015.
