Senex Energy records increase in Q3 cash balance

Senex Energy Limited (ASX:SXY) has reported a 1 percent increase in cash balance to $100.5 million during the third quarter of FY16.
The energy company advised sales revenue of $16.7 million was down 8 percent.
Senex continues to focus on capital discipline with capex down 26 percent to $5.5 million and guidance revised down 30 percent for FY16.
Net oil and gas production was down 4 percent in the quarter. Senex said the natural field decline was mostly offset by the contribution of new wells.
Senex Energy has narrowed production guidance to 1.0-1.05 million barrels of oil equivalent, following delays to the connection of Vanessa gas field.
