The gaming technology manufacturer reported a statutory NPAT of $159 million, which is double last year’s figure of $78 million, from the same period last year.
Aristocrat Leisure says that the latest results represent its tenth consecutive period of earnings growth.
The company also says that performance was driven by further growth in share, average selling price and overall average fees per day in its core markets – North America and Australia.
Aristocrat Leisure has authorized an interim dividend of 10 cents per share for the half year, which will be paid on 1 July 2016.
