Perth-based medicaltech company, OBJ Ltd (ASX:OBJ), has been granted two patents in the United States for its magnetic microarray technology.
OBJ says the United States is the world’s largest market for skincare and oral care, which are the fields of healthcare in which its technology will be used.
Also, these patents will allow the company to have market exclusivity for the next 20 years.
The company confirms that the same patent applications are currently pending in Europe.
OBJ reported a net loss of $3.6 million at 30 June 2016.
