Vocus Group (ASX:VOC) has received a second takeover proposal for $3.50 cash per share.
The telecommunications provider received a preliminary, indicative and non-binding proposal from Affinity Equity Partners and its affiliates to acquire all the shares in the company.
It comes as Vocus previously received a preliminary, indicative and non-binding proposal from Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (together with its affiliates) (KKR) to buy 100 per cent of the shares (on a fully diluted basis) also for $3.50 cash per share.
Affinity’s proposal is subject to due diligence and a similar number of other matters, similar to those in the KKR proposal.
Vocus says it does not intend to make a further announcement unless and until a recommended offer is secured.
Shares in Vocus Group (ASX:VOC) are trading 2.75 per cent higher 3.54 cents.
