Austin Engineering (ASX:ANG) has announced that an employee at its Chilean operation has been involved in a fatal motor vehicle accident, while travelling between two of its sites.
The designer and manufacturer of customised mining industry ancillary products says, the incident occurred while the worker was travelling between its Calama and Antofagasta sites, on the main highway.
The fatality occurred on Friday 21 July 2017 at 8.30am Chile time.
The company has made counseling services available to the workers family, local employees and their families.
