Senex Energy unveils new gas supply in QLD

Senex Energy (ASX:SXY) will introduce its new gas supply project to investors today at an oil conference in Perth.

The oil and gas exploration and production company recently a won gas tender acreage for Queensland’s Surat Basin, calling it Project Atlas.

The company says the site offers strategically located permits and is close to existing infrastructure and transmission facilities.

Senex says the new release of over 2,000 kilometers squared of acreage for exploration and development offers value upside for investors.

It boasts 438 pjs of reserves and a further 201 pjs of recoverable gas volumes.

Shares in Senex Energy (ASX:SXY) closed about 4.7 per cent lower yesterday at $0.30.
