Caltex appoints Matthew Halliday CFO

Caltex (ASX:CTX) has announced the appointment of Matthew Halliday to the position of CFO.

He brings significant experience in senior finance and commercial roles gained in global organizations.

In a 20 year career at Rio Tinto, Mr Halliday held the role of CFO in several divisions.

Caltex MD, Julian Segal says Mr Halliday's experience in M&A, capital management and transformation sets him up well to make a positive contribution to the delivery of the Caltex strategy.

Shares in Caltex Australia (ASX:CTX) are trading 0.57 per cent lower at $26.36.
