The Bank of Queensland (ASX:BOQ) has today announced the appointment of George Frazis as its new Managing Director & CEO.
He'll be joining the bank from Westpac where he was Chief Executive of the Consumer Bank where he was responsible for consumer distribution, digital, marketing, transformation and banking products and services for Westpac, St George, Bank SA, Bank of Melbourne and RAMS.
He'll take over the role in September this year.
He says: “Disruption across the industry is moving at pace".
Shares in the Bank of Queensland (ASX:BOQ) are trading 0.86 per cent higher at $9.43.
