The ship building company has been awarded two long term offshore service vessels contracts from a customer in Thailand, following on from recent contract wins in South East Asia and the Middle East. 

Miclyn Express says it has now inked seven new offshore service vessels contracts since the beginning of the year worth $US56 million. 

The company concedes it has experienced earnings softness in the 2013 financial year but says the latest contracts have been executed on the back of its operating performance and customer relationships.  

Miclyn Express Offshore reported a net profit of $24.8 million in the first half of the 2013 financial year.
