Quickflix Limited (ASX:QFX) has entered into a multi-year cloud and network partnership with AAPT.

The online movie streaming company says it will be able to efficiently scale its movie and TV streaming service to serve millions of customers in Australia and New Zealand by using AAPT’s extreme performance network.

The partnership marks another step in Quickflix’s restructure, which is aimed at reducing costs while focusing on a return to growth and moving towards its goal of breaking even on its cash flow.

Chairman and CEO Stephen Langsford says the venture will position the company for its next phase of growth, while taking costs out.

AAPT’s platform enables broadcasters to access new markets as the global media landscape changes to digital content delivery.

Quickflix posted a net loss of $3.4 million in the first half of the current financial year.
