He resigned within a week of Tabcorp confirming that it was being investigated for a $200,000 payment made in 2009 to the family of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen.
Tabcorp has co-operated with the AFP throughout the investigation and welcomes the conclusion of this matter.
Shares in Tabcorp (ASX:TAH) are trading 0.2 per cent higher at $4.78.
