The patent will be granted across all 38 EPO member states, including all EU member states and Turkey.
The patent provides a means for iSignthis to independently achieve compliance with the European Banking Authority’s (EBA) Regulatory Technical Standard (RTS) on Strong Customer Authentication.
iSignthis says consumers purchasing electronic money from its European Monetary Financial Institution, iSignthis eMoney, will have available to them several means of authenticating their payment, allowing for a seamless consumer experience.
Shares in iSignthis (ASX:ISX) are trading 7.35 per cent higher to $1.09.
