Carmen is a chartered secretary with 17 years’ experience in governance, risk and compliance, with ten of those years in the financial services industry.
Current Company Secretary Mr Will Conlan, who has accepted another role within the Bank, will continue in the role in the short term to ensure a smooth handover of Australia’s fifth-largest bank.
Last week Bendigo also confirmed Chairman Robert Johanson will retire in November after 31 years at the bank.
Shares in Bendigo and Adelaide Bank (ASX:BEN) are trading 0.89 per cent higher at $11.34.
