Pindan awarded the contract for the design, manufacture and supply of modular buildings for Rio Tinto’s Koodaideri iron ore accommodation village.
The deliverables are scheduled for completion by mid-2020.
Managing Director & CEO Brad Denison says “Fleetwood has a strong track record delivering mining accommodation in Western Australia and [is] pleased to expand [its] relationship with Pindan and Rio Tinto on this important project for the State”.
Shares in Fleetwood Corporation (ASX:FWD) closed 1 per cent higher at $2.02 yesterday.
