Eastern Goldfields Limited
(ASX:EGS) has announced that drilling has commenced at the Sand King and Missouri gold deposits at the Siberia Project in Western Australia.
The company says it has mobilised three diamond drill rigs to site, and will mobilise an an additional RC percussion rig in the coming weeks.
Eastern Goldfield also says the resources definition drilling is expected to finish in August 2016, with exploration drilling likely to continue.
The company says that many positive results were returned from preliminary economic assessments completed late last year under lower commodity pricing.
Eastern Goldfields reported a net loss of $4.79 million at 31 December 2015.
