Super Retail Group
(ASX:SUL) has promoted the head of its outdoor retailing business to the top job.
Anthony Heraghty will replace retiring CEO Peter Birtles from 31 March 2019.
The company says he was the standout candidate from a national and international executive search.
Mr Heraghty joined Super Retail in 2015 and was previously group manager of underwear for Pacific Brands, responsible for Bonds.
Mr Birtles, who has been with Super Retail for 18 years will present the company's first half results with Mr Heraghty in February, before stepping down in March.
Shares in Super Retail Group
(ASX:SUL) are trading 0.14 per cent lower at $6.89.
