Boral Limited (Boral) is engaged in the manufacture and supply of building and construction materials in Australia, the United States and Asia.
The Company’s core businesses are cement and construction materials in Australia; plasterboard in Australia and Asia, and bricks, roof tiles and masonry in Australia and the United States.
Boral’s segments comprised: Boral Construction Materials, which includes quarries, concrete, asphalt, transport and quarry end use; Cement Division, which includes cement, Asian concrete, quarries and pipes; Boral Building Products, which includes Australian plasterboard, bricks, timber products, roof tiles, masonry and Asian plasterboard; United States of America, which includes bricks, roof tiles, fly ash, concrete, quarries and masonry, and Other, which includes concrete placing and windows.
On August 4, 2010, Boral announced the sale of Precast Panels to Brickworks Ltd.
